Project Description

Our extensive kitchen and great room remodel took this lovely Windsor home far and above the typical Modern Farmhouse. From the cool-washed Euro Style DeWils Sonoma cabinets in Oak over vertical offset creamy subway tiles, Neolith Monte Blanc countertops and Fenix Verde slab front bottom cabinets, this kitchen shines with personality.

The leather tab cabinet pulls and woven leather bar stools add an organic feel to the room, offsetting the industrial stainless steel G.E. Monogram appliances and simple lighting. The open shelving cleverly wraps the structural wall over the breakfast bar, allowing the kitchen to transition into the living room.

A petite black and white bar with Art Deco wall paper provides the perfect spot to mix a smart cocktail and show off our client’s eclectic collection of tipples.

The living room is a symphony of bright pops of color and texture, grounded on pale, wide plank oak floors. The charcoal accent wall and stair rail provide the bass notes; the simple white walls, the counterpoint. Again, the warmth of leather in the sofa warms the space and plush teal velvet swivel chairs, an antique coffee table, woven lighting, baskets of lush plants and a hide rug bring texture, movement and the curated feel we are famous for.

All together a smashing success!

  • The perfect balance between organic and antique with modern clean lines
  • The waterfall edge on the peninsula
  • The COLOR options with DeWils Cabinets!
  • The art deco bar wallpaper- even just a glimpse is enough to make a statement!
