This beautiful Sebastopol home was a diamond in the rough. The rooms were dark and dated and the kitchen was not functional. Every room of this house from the bedrooms, to the bathrooms, to the kitchen and living room all received some much needed TLC. One of our favorite updates is the angled fireplace with Dekton stone hearth. The sleekness of the stone and tile sets the tone for the theme of the home; Warm Contemporary.

The kitchen was the biggest change with a whole new layout, textured gray wood cabinetry, quartz countertops and happy apple green walls. We finished the design with some of our favorite modern hardware from Top Knobs.

The property is surrounded by tall trees. The owner, a writer, sees herself hosting writer’s retreats outside on the expansive deck overlooking her garden. With this beautifully tranquil property, inspiration can be found everywhere you look.
