Natasha

Artistic Visionary, Nature-Lover,

Natasha
CEO / Principal Designer
BA Fine Arts, AA Interior Design, Allied ASID, WELL AP
Natasha started Inspired Spaces Design in 2005, in the corner of her living room with her baby son on her lap. Having earned a Bachelor of Arts from UC Davis and majoring in Studio Art and minoring in Art History, she later went back to school and earned an Associate’s degree in Interior Design. In addition to her natural artistic talent, Natasha is the rare designer that is formally trained in both the artistic and the technical side of design. She enjoys keeping up with design trends, but is mostly concerned with designing spaces that are functional and that keep her clients happy and healthy.
Natasha is dedicated to being a supportive mentor to her team members, and therefore only takes on a select few projects each year. “I feel incredibly fortunate to have attracted such a talented and inspiring group of women. I want to do what I can to help this next generation of designers reach their full potential.” Natasha also recently started a non profit organization (Inspired Spaces Foundation) that furnishes new homes for women and children who have recently experienced homelessness.
Born and raised on the Peninsula, Natasha moved her family to Sonoma County in 2006 to raise her son. Her passions include reading, fly fishing, kayaking, art of all kinds, and getting cozy and warm with a cup of tea any chance she can get. She loves spending time camping and being on the archery range (as well as playing Tetris and Dr. Mario) with her husband, son, and dog, Jasper Johns. She is equally as comfortable at the DeYoung Museum as she is on the river, in the office, or on a jobsite.

Sadi
Senior Designer

“Jill-of-all-trades”
Sadi
Senior Designer
AA Interior Design, Allied ASID
Sadi’s passion for design and architecture started long before her career began as a designer. Growing up with a father who was a general contractor, she learned the ins and outs of construction and building from a young age. Throughout her younger years, she spent her free time painting, styling, and rearranging furniture. Eventually she started to refurbish and build furniture, honing her craftsman abilities, and growing her collection of power tools. In 2017 she recognized her true love for design and pursued a career that would feed her passions. In 2019 she graduated from SRJC with an AA in interior design and joined the Inspired Spaces team.
A native Californian, Sadi moved to Sonoma with her husband, Caleb, in 2017. She spends her free time with her family, friends, and adorable french bulldog, Napoleon. Her hobbies include motorcycle riding, snowboarding, hiking and traveling the world whenever she can.

Shellie
Senior Designer
AA Interior Design, Allied ASID
“I have had a love affair with the built environment my entire life. I can’t remember a time that I was unaware of the space around me and how I felt as a result of being in it.” she says. “Our environment changes our hearts, heads and lives; that impact can’t be underestimated.” Shellie practiced real estate in San Francisco for 11 years and knew that design school was the next right step after real estate. She worked for herself as a designer and stager in the East Bay and Sonoma County, as well as in Design/Build before joining Inspired Spaces. She has an AA in interior design and is an Allied Member of ASID.
Shellie is an avid cultural, art, and fashion historian, studies brain science for fun, and loves a great flea market. Personally, she is style driven rather than fashionable, often mixing vintage and found objects into modern interiors as well as having a fabulous collection of vintage coats and way too many shoes!

Sarah
Design Assistant
Ace Wingwoman, Creator of Lists,
Dance Party Starter
Sarah
BA Fine Arts
Sarah has her Bachelor of Arts from Long Beach State and her love for interior design led her to enter into the field shortly after graduating. The administrative side of design has been ideal for Sarah’s strong drive for organization and planning. Her fascination with interiors has been apparent for as long as she can remember. Originally from Michigan, she moved around a lot with her mom and siblings. In each new place she took great comfort in setting up spaces that made it feel like home. Sarah has carried on a bit of the “Nomadic” lifestyle with a love of, BOTH, Northern and Southern California. She and her husband have spent the last two decades pursuing their dreams in both regions. Ultimately their deep rooted connections have led them to have their daughter start middle school in Santa Rosa, the place in which they met. When not creating to-do lists, Sarah spends time with her family (human and furry), cooks and makes messes in the garden.

Vanessa
Director of Operations
Art lover, Pup Enthusiast,

Vanessa
Director of Operations
One of Vanessa’s childhood hobbies was to draw scaled floor plans of her bedroom, create templates of her furniture and rearrange everything on the plans before redesigning her room. She also spent many weekends helping her dad with remodeling their home, everything from demoing the kitchen to selecting stone for the bathrooms. Her love of interiors and construction has always been evident.
Vanessa’s design career started in her aunt’s architectural firm as an admin which quickly turned into a design assistant role. Realizing her natural talent and creativity, Vanessa decided to get her B.A. in Interior Architecture from San Francisco Academy of Art. After 15 years of living and working in San Francisco she moved back to Sonoma County. It was during this time that she realized her natural instincts for business operations. She is passionate about problem solving, identifying/addressing challenges and truly cares about the team being successful. Being able to blend her fascination with design and her nerdy, spreadsheet loving organizational skills is a dream come true.

In late 2021 she joined the Inspired Spaces team as a drafter/designer.
Born in Mexico, Lizbeth’s family relocated to Sonoma County in 1998 and has lived in Santa Rosa ever since. She spends her free time going to farmers markets, sporting events, art exhibitions, crafting and spending time with friends and family. Erika
Master Degree, Construction Management
Hired as the Warehouse Operations Manager (WOM) in December 2021, Erika joined the team from a vastly different background than most in the interior design world. Her experience runs the gamut from aircraft maintenance and flightline operations, DoD contractor manufacturing environments, and industrial distribution and integrated supply services.
Following her innate curiosity, Erika has shifted gears throughout the years to diversify her professional and personal growth, earning several Associate degrees ranging from Criminal Justice; Aviation Maintenance & Technology; Logistics & Supply Chain Management; Technical Management and most recently, Occupational Safety & Health Technology. She also sports a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics (where she received the Future Female Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship), and a Master’s degree in Construction Management (where she was selected for the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) San Diego 2020 Scholarship).
